VTR is the utility and governance token of the VETRA protocol, deployed on the Polygon network. Everything written here can be checked on-chain — nothing depends on taking our word for it.

The essentials

Supply: 30,000,000 VTR. Hard cap: 1,000,000,000 VTR. Transfer tax: 0%.

Contract: verified on Polygonscan. The token follows the ERC-20 standard and every parameter of the contract is public and auditable.

Network: Polygon PoS.

What VTR is not

VTR is not a stablecoin and is not pegged to any currency. It was never designed to hold a fixed price against any fiat currency, and no mechanism exists to defend such a price.

Its market value is set by liquidity and demand, exactly like any openly traded token, and it is visible to anyone at any moment through the public liquidity pool.

We prefer to state this plainly. Misunderstanding what a token is costs people money; stating what it is costs us nothing.

What VTR is for

Utility: VTR is what moves inside the VETRA ecosystem. It is the unit used in protocol operations, in services connected to the ecosystem and in the exchanges that are open to the public.

Governance: holders of VTR take part in decisions about the protocol. Governance is not a decorative feature — it is the reason the token exists in the first place, and the reason the supply was fixed and the contract made immutable in its core rules.

Why the numbers matter

A fixed supply of 30,000,000 with a hard cap of 1,000,000,000 means there is a known ceiling to how much VTR can ever exist. There is no hidden mint, no inflation schedule running in the background and no mechanism to quietly rewrite the rules: the contract is public, verified, and its role structure is visible on-chain.

Zero transfer tax means what you send is what arrives. No hidden fee is taken in transit — not by a contract, not by a pool, not by us.

Transparency, in practice

Anyone can verify, without asking our permission:

  • the total supply and the hard cap
  • the token holders and the largest balances
  • the liquidity pool and the price at any given moment
  • every transfer ever made

This is the standard we hold ourselves to: what we say about VTR should always be something you can confirm yourself on Polygonscan.
